I recently got highlights, and the colour keeps coming off when I wash my hair?

I have never gotten highlights or dyed my hair before. My hair is black (I'm Asian), and when I went to the salon they put in pink dye. It came out red. Every time I wash my hair the pink dye stains my towel and is slightly visible in the water. It's been about a week now. My highlights are still here, but is there something wrong? Did the hairdresser do a bad job, or should I switch to a certain kind of shampoo to retain the colour? Please help! u really should buy some colorsafe hair products! i got highlights in like october and they r still in!! im guessing its cuz i use nothing but colorsafe!!!!!!!!!

Colors such as pink or red,


Do not last very long.


It's not meant to be permanent.


When i got bright red highlights, the water was red everytime i showered.


They told me to wash my hair in cold water and to not use conditioner.


But i didn't listen to them, i have to use conditioner or my hair will look bad.


Doing what they said, would probably retain the color alittle longer, but sorry it's not a forever color.


The only way it can be is if you got pink clip on extentions. or something.


But your pink should last another 3 weeks i'd guess.

and it would fade anyways, if u dye it red ur hair will later turn into orange, even if you went to professional and ussed shampoo for color stay





And it's too earlyfor your color to fade out, you had horrible hair-dresser
usually it depends what brand you get how long your highlights last





make sure you use the conditioner they give you so it helps it stay





if you JUST put them in, thats normal
its ok!! i just got my hair dyed purple and it comes out like crazy when i take a shower! its normal!! so dont worry!!
