Some of it is blond and some of it is orange. SO at the top its light but the whole bottom is black. I dont know what to do to fix it. It doesnt look completely horrible but I dont know if it looks good either. Should I just keep it this way or should I fix it.
If you think I should fix it, how do I do that? How can I get the orange out?I have black hair and i tried to give myself highlights and they turned out orange!?
If you want to fix it you are going to have to bleach it again. But you should probably wait at least a week. That way you can give your hair a rest and see if you even want to by then. And the ends may stay darker even if you bleach it again. Especially if you are using a box dye and if you used a box dye to turn it black in the first place. So you should wait a week and see if you still want to, if it doesn't turn out you should put red on so that it doesn't look bad. Plus, red and black look very good together.I have black hair and i tried to give myself highlights and they turned out orange!?
the reason why its soo light on the roots
becuase its virgin hair (never been colored)
and the rest is orange because you bleach it over black hair.
you'll need to bleach at least twice on black hair.
and you leave the bleach on for at least 45 mins to an hour.
then use the purple shampoo (joico or shimmering lights)
it takes the yellow/orange out of the blonde
and makes it reaally BLONDE!
you can put it on your whole head (it wont change anythiig on your black hair)
but it changes on your highlights.
and buy deep conditoner (dove therapy or tressume)
after bleaching.
hope i helped!
I heard something weird about this... Sometimes when black haired people try to bleach their hair it turns orange instead of blond. I'd say you just have to give it time to fade away, i doubt anything would get it out. Good luck with it.
You should have a picture but i'm betting it really doesn't look that bad.
