How long until i should get my hair highlighted??

i have dyed my hair a bunch of times in the past and now i'm working on getting my hair super healthy and strong. the last time i died my hair was about 2 weeks ago and i was wondering when it would be okay to get highlights for the summertime.How long until i should get my hair highlighted??

Sun in will be ok. Not as harsh as using proper highlights, at least for now. To keep your hair healthy use some almond oil drops mixed in your condition. almond oil its not oily at all and is easily absorbed so it wont be greasy. good luck
It's ok, but I wouldn't recommend doing so much dying and highlighting to your hair, it's not that great. If you really want highlights, get that Sun In spray from a pharmacy like CVS. Using the slightest bit will give you natural looking highlights. Otherwise I think you would look so much better with your natural hair color.

With dark brown hair, sun in makes the hair turn a reddish color. If that's the kind of color you want, then that's fine. But if you don't want it to turn reddish, then you should just get regular highlights.

i would wait a couple weeks


if you do it any sooner it will just fry your hair to a crisp. If you are trying to make your hair healthy don't put any in, natural is the best =]
It depends on how soon you want your hair super healthy? if you are going to keep putting color on it it isnt going to every get healthy. You really only have to wait about a week. But if you want to get healthy hair i would wait until summer
At least 2 more months - depending on how fast your hair grows. Remember that whatever you've already dyed is damaged. The only healthy hair will be the new growth - which in 2 months, maybe be only 1-2 inches.
right before summertime...you don't want to do it right away cuz then your hair will be rough and straw-like
