Deep red for highlights on black hairWhat will look better (highlights) on black hair?
well if you want a bit more ';natural'; highlight go with the maroonish brown but want something interesting go with the red

i had red highlights before it didnt look too bad and im asian

but just dont shower in really hot water

i did and the red turned to orange! What will look better (highlights) on black hair?
Burgundy or chestnut looks good on black hair.
That will LOOK Awesome! I'd go for the Auburn color (first one) because Deep red can really pale you out .
deep red
deep red, i did tht n it looked AMAZING! i absolutely LUVD it! i definetely advise it cuz it makes u original n stand out. However, if ur not as adventurous as i am, maroonish brown is a safe alternative until u work up the courage to try something bolder! hope i helped!

(also, with colour highlights, ask for a recommended shampoo from ur hairdresser, tht way the colour will last for an age!)

deep red! :]]:
deep red. since black hair is already really dark the deep red will inhance the color and make it look darker than it already is. it looks very pretty
Deep red would look nice, but it could be a little too ';rockstar-ish';, but if that's what you want, go for it!
Red. It adds some warmth to dark hair, and is very flattering too!
red. i had both kinds done, and the red made my hair POP! the only downside is, you've got to keep up with the touch-ups, otherwise the red will fade sooo fast!
it really depends on your style.. I would go with the brown colour only if it's really deep ( if it's light, it's gonna look like tiger stripes on your head.. not so good). The red against black just seems too goth-like for me. But if you want, you could.. as long as you stick with a deep DEEP red that can blend in with your black hair so that it's barely noticeable.
Brown, red is trashy. :)
