What highlights would look good with black hair?

I'm trying to find out what color of highlights will look good with black hair im mixed and i have hazel eyes and light skin and long black hair, and ideas?

I would go with a darker brown, mabey like a carmel color. or if you wanted an extreme color mabye like a red or a blue.What highlights would look good with black hair?
my friend has sleek black hair and got a deeper colored red highlights and they look cute without being too strong or tacky.

I think that you would look great with suttled hues of reds, browns, and blondes. Try blending a bit or start out with some gradual highlights over a period of time until you're comfortable with your new look. Good luck!
