My mom wont let me dye my hair blonde but will let me highlight it?!?

My hair looks brown with blonde in it and is really ugly and i just kind of want it to be brown. or blonde. I know my mom will let me if i convince her but i don't know what to convince her with. plus my hair is really really curly but its a pretty curl but i want it straight so i will be straightening my hair if i get it died blonde and if you want to tell me don't it will ruin your hair please don't answer this!My mom wont let me dye my hair blonde but will let me highlight it?!?
I am not going to say don't because it wil ruin your hair... but I would say not to dye your whole head of hair blonde because it will take a lot of maintenance and you will not be able to go very long in between dyes because it is very noticable when your roots grow out. With highlights it is not near as noticable because it is only streaks. I highlight my hair and I sometimes go 4 months with out getting it done again. I think highlights/lowlights look much better than dying the whole head anyways, but that is just my opinion :) I like the contrast of different colors. usually when you dye your hair blonde it looks extremely unnatural and ugly, so why would you want to go thru that embarracement. plus your dark roots will get so annoying after couple of months. i am a natural blonde, and i dyed my hair ( a bit lighter color) like a year ago, and i still have trouble with roots growing out everytime. I can go without getting my hair retouched and it wont be that noticesabble, but for you hair color, it ll be just waaaaaaaaay tooo much trouble

so pick a nice true brunette color, its alot easier to dye your hair and most likely you wont mess it up, and itll look great. trust me





you can also buy a thing called hair straightener, its exact opposite of perm


it ll help you hair stay more straight without lots of hard work constantly straightening it

so i did highlights and im gunna progressively go blonder every month.


its working soo far but dont forget to see a professional .





here are some tips : when getting your hair bleached , deep condition it for 1 week every other day before your visit . this will keep it from getting damaged. and make sure you tell your stylist to show you some colors before she does it . also ask her to tone it afterwards so your can get a great blonde :)

First of all, highlights are a waist of time. Trust me! Next, you should convince your mom, but a great idea is to get the temporary dye first not go blonde yet.

So get blonde highlights and every time you get them re-done, get a few more. That way you'll gradually go blonde and maybe your mom won't mind so much.
